Intern at International Office in a College of Technologies & Design in Vilnius

Our collaborator wants to invite to this position a creative person, who would become a part of their team to work with creative development projects.
Information about the College
A state university of applied sciences in Lithuania, hosting around 2.500 students and 200 professors and other staff members. Offers 16 full-time study programs, partial studies through exchange programs, as well as informal study courses and training.
Our collaborator runs various participative initiatives in order to respond to strategic goals for sustainability and quality of studies. For example, a few years ago new optional course the Social Project was developed, which links knowledge, enquiry and action to help students become active society members and solve practical problems of their communities. Through their work with chosen society actors, the students solve critical community issues in a variety of areas, such as environment, health, arts and education. In the Fall semester of 2015, our collaborator set up the Science Shop in order to be able better to respond to civil society’s needs for expertise and knowledge. Science Shop is supposed to become a mediator between the community and involve students in local community issues solving through applied research.
Payment
This is an unpaid internship. The payment is assumed by an educational institution or Erasmus+ scholarship fund. Accommodation will not be provided, but the College can assist in arranging the place at the dormitory.
