Catalunya Casas is a vacation rental agency in the Barcelona (Spain) area. We specialise in hand-picked, exclusively managed family villa rentals (with pool and garden!) in Mallorca, Ibiza, and the Barcelona area.
The primary responsibility of a Vacation Planner (Reservation and Customer Service Agent) is to receive inbound reservation calls and actively follow-up on reservation inquires via email or outbound call in order to drive sales so individual and team goals are achieved: all while continually ensuring standards of processes are followed and that the overall customer experience remains a top-priority. Vacation Planners must manage their time effectively in a fast paced environment to ensure all follow-up is performed in a professional and timely manner. This individual will be a driving force in both increasing the company’s sales and helping thousands of vacationers have an exceptional vacation experience.
-Advanced English and Spanish language abilities.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and the ability to get along with a diverse population are critical qualifications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
-Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, detail oriented, proven analytical skills and ability to respond to issues in a timely manner while working in a fast paced environment.
-Possess a positive and upbeat attitude at all times.
-Demonstrate a high level of independence, initiative and resourcefulness while managing priorities in a flexible team environment.
-A passion for the customer experience combined with business curiosity and a strategic viewpoint. Ability to answer customer’s questions and successfully resolve issues and/or negotiate matters related to customer’s account.
-Maintain clear and concise documentation and positive approach to conflict resolution.
-Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment.
