The main exports for Germany are machinery and automobiles, chemicals and metals, and energy sources such as wind and solar power.
The largest cities in Germany are Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf. 37 of the world’s 500 largest companies have their headquarters in metropolitan cities around Germany.
